What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind.

When under hypnosis you will feel very relaxed, just like that feeling when you are tired, comfortable and just about to fall asleep.

With the help of a trained hypnotherapist you will be able to overcome many problems such as phobias, obsessions, cravings, anxieties and emotional issues.

Can everyone be hypnotised?

Most of us have experienced a natural trance state at some time - having drifted off whilst thinking about something, forgetting bits of a car journey or 'going somewhere else' whilst reading.

Hypnotherapy is harmless and is similar to meditation, or daydreaming.  You are aware and in control and can terminate the session at any time.  It has no known side effects and provides therapeutic benefits.

What does Hypnotherapy involve?

Hypnotherapy is a two way process between the therapist and the client.  A person cannot be hypnotised unless he or she agrees and co-operates fully.

You are led, into a state where your body and mind are relaxed and nearly asleep and although you will feel very relaxed, you will remain awake enough to be aware.

After the session, you will feel very refreshed and will experience a wonderful sense of calmness, happiness, well-being and contentment.
